Volunteer log in guidance
IMPORTANT: HelpCounter's home access is simply a portal to your EXISTING information
in your school's volunteer database. When you create your login password for your email address, it
it will automatically check for your email address already existing in the volunteer databases at schools in the state
that you selected.
If it finds your email address at any schools, it will automatically send you a confirmation
email listing the school(s) and any volunteer names that use your email address. When you receive the email, simply
click on any name/school combinations that you'd like to be able to access via your log in. This will add them to your profile and they
will be available to you the next time you log in.
By having all volunteers from your family use the same email address at the school you can manage all
of the volunteer activities for your family group with a single log in.
If the system can't find your email address at any schools, the system will still create your log in account but
it will not be associated with any schools yet. You will be offered a form to submit your information
to the volunteer coordinator. Once they accept your information, you'll be able to log in and the school will automatically
be in your profile.
Please note that while you may have received emails from your school, it doesn't necessarily mean that your info is
in the volunteer program yet. The student manangement system and the volunteer database are separate systems. If you have any questions
